6/3/12: Animal Kingdom Walt Disney World Fun With Animals

Here is my second in the series of Disney posts.  Animal Kingdom has been a wonderful addition to Walt Disney World.  The first thing we head to when we go there is to Donald's Breakfast at the Tusker House.  Tip: Get a reservation before park opening and enter when the park is empty.  Here are the kids with Safari Mickey Mouse.
The family with Donald Duck.  These are all my pictures.  I also had the Disney PhotoPass people take over 400 pictures that I will get on CD and will post these later on.  Tip:  I always pre-order the PhotoPass CD and they get lots of great shots.  When you pre-order the CD you save $50 and you get some magical photos with some surprises (Tinkerbell in your hand, Simba in your arms, or Stitch coming out of the ground).   Especially if you are going to Bippity Boppity this is well worth it as they get some great pictures.  Plus the whole family can join in on pictures.  And once you get home you can add borders and character signatures.  I highly recommend it.  I also found out they have a PhotoPass Plus option now that includes ride and dining photos.
 The kids love Goofy.
Daisy Duck leading the parade of kids.  You can see Lauren with the Green shirt.  They really make these meals fun for the kids with parades and instruments for them to play.
 Hugs for Daisy Duck.
Another tip is that if you are celebrating anything when you are in Walt Disney World you can celebrate at every meal.  We were there for Evan's birthday and could celebrate every day.  They brought him a signed card from the characters and a cupcake.
One of the tanks with fish and a manatee.
The kids having fun playing the drums.
Another hit is the Safari.  This is usually the first thing we head to right after we go to breakfast.  Tip:  Head to this early in the day or late in the day.  I swear this Rhino must be trained to follow the safari trucks as it seems every time he comes right up to our truck.
 The Hippos are cool.
It is so cool seeing all the animals up close in a habitat made for them.
This is a whole family of elephants.  Love the baby ones.
And of course there are rides.  Here are the kids on one of the rides in Dino World.  We also went on Dinosaur which was a little scary but Evan seemed to enjoy it.
I love roller coasters so Everest was my favorite.
The shows are fantastic too.  Here is the Lion King show which is lots of fun.
And the Finding Nemo show is amazing.  The singers are awesome.
Plus characters are always fun to see.
 Evan enjoyed these guys.
 Thumper!
Thumper using Lauren's wand to cast a spell.
 Goofy!
Plus one picture of the Tree.  I also have a PhotoPass CD coming that will have lots more pictures of us in front of the tree.
