12/18/13: Progress on Jenny Craig

You may have read my previous post about going back to Jenny Craig to lose weight.  I really was at a point of frustration and needed to make a change.  Now it has been 3 weeks and I wanted to update you on my progress.
Drum roll please....
After week one I had lost 6 pounds, week two another 3 pounds, and week three 2 1/2 pounds for a total of 11 1/2!  I now think joining before Thanksgiving was a fabulous idea!  Even going to my husband's holiday party at work I just made better choices.  I ate veggies and fruit instead of fat laden passed hors d'oeuvres.  I filled my plate with salad, peeled skin off my chicken and had that with green beans.  Even holiday events couldn't sabotage me.  My number on the scale is getting less horrible, and best of all my clothes are too big!
To think I have already lost the weight of this bag that I picked up on the first week.  It is amazing how much 10 pounds is.
I have really just focused on the food right now.  In my next update I hope to add more activity in the mix and provide updates on that.  I also will try and match my food with what the family is eating.  For example if it is Pizza night I will eat my Rising Crust Pizza which is super yummy!
Lunch can even be a Beef and Cheese Slider which are yummy.
With the desserts I don't even feel like I am missing sweets.  Here is the Carrot Cake Cupcake which is awesome!
I know I can do it!  I just need to keep going and take it one day at a time.
I am still evolving but day by day and week by week I will get back to the Gilda I used to be.
Check out what programs they have on their website.  Don't wait till the New Year!
